2025 HR-V EX gap on rear bumper

Picked up a 2025 HR-V EX a few weeks ago and just noticed the rear bumper cover has a slight gap on one side, right below the trim. I'm guessing something might've poked it or what when I loaded stuff into the hatch. Can this be clipped back in easily, or am I better off taking it to the dealer to avoid breaking anything? TIA.

I ran into the same thing on my 2024 a while back, so I feel your pain. More than likely, one of the plastic clips got popped loose when you were loading gear or bumped something tight. If you're careful, you can usually pop it back in place by hand. Just give it a gentle push near the gap and listen for the click. I'd take a peek underneath first to make sure nothing's cracked, but if it's just a popped clip, you're golden without needing the dealer.

Maybe stop at the dealer just so they can check the tabs and clips, if one is bent or so, they'll know how to reseat it without cracking the panel

Mine had the same thing. I easily popped it back in with a little pressure, but yeah, check the tabs first so you don't snap anything. Agree with @TikToker01 here also if you're stuck you can check out the dealer.

Is it just a small gap? If so and there's no visible damage to the tabs or clips, you might be able to gently snap it back in, like what was suggested above. Try using light pressure near the edge. But if it feels stuck or uneven, it's safer to let the dealer check it to avoid cracking the cover or trim. Did you notice any scratches or flexing near that area?
