Just picked up a 2023 EXL for my wife a few weeks ago and she's been loving it so far but one little thing she drew my attention to, the side mirrors don't fold in automatically when I lock the car, I thought this was something it might do out of the box, but Idk maybe w'ere missing a setting? I've gone through the infotainment menus and the HondaLink app, but didn't spot anything obvious, or maybe I didn't check well enough, do I need to enable this somewhere
Thanks all, in advance

If I'm not mistaken the hr-v doesn't have this feature at all. It only has the button on the door.
I looked into it more this and you're right, the 2023 HR-V EX-L in the US doesn't have auto-folding mirrors at all, just the manual button on the door. Kinda surprising they didn't include it at that trim level.

If cars can sense lanes, park themselves, and talk to satellites, why are basic features like auto-folding mirrors still locked behind trims or hidden menus are automakers upselling convenience or just gatekeeping it?

Automakers frequently highlight convenience features as key selling points for their higher-end models, aiming to explain the price variations. This strategy pushes buyers toward choosing more expensive versions, effectively reserving these features to boost their sales.
