Anyone tried to remove the trim on the front wheel?

hi all. i have a 2024 hrv and the plastic trim o nthe front wheel on the rigth side was unsecured. can i remove it? Im being careful so i won't damage it. Appreciate any input

You can remove the trim, but be careful since it's usually held in place by clips and possibly adhesive. If it's already loose, try gently removing it from the edges, starting where it's unsecured. Before removing it completely, check if it can be put back, sometimes, clips just pop out and can be snapped back in. That's if you think you'd probably want it back

sure you can, but why? I mean, it's there for protection purposes, it's also reducing noise and vibration. I'd keep it if I were you :)
 
useful or not, I wouldn't recommend removing it yourself unless absolutely necessary. If the trim is unsecured, it might be better to have it checked professionally to avoid damaging the clips or the trim itself.
