I have this 2025 HR-V which in my opinion is really good but it is not reliable at all. So far since I had it last month, four issues already appeared. One is that the rearview mirror stays dark even at night, which is dangerous. Second, the infotainment system is really really laggy and annoying, my maps won't calibrate properly and no, it's not a mobile data connection issue! It's not a phone issue, mine is the iPhone 16 Pro. Next, the windshield fluid on the driver's side is faulty and doesn't spray like in the passenger's side so I know there's something wrong. And lastly, the driver's wiper doesn't reach the end of the windshield! It's annoying when it's raining or snowing or in general just fogging because I cannot see a damn thing. All these problems they just tagged as normal and they can't give me a straight answer on what to do. So I will ask here. And please lay down what I can do so I can build a strong case against them. I'm sick of this.

for the rearview mirror you might be dealing with sensor issue, so you might wanna demand an inspection and if they refuse that make a written statement. for the infotainment system you should request a system update, maybe that's the problem. the windshield fluid is possibly faulty because of clogged or misaligned nozzle, insist on inspection. and last but not least, about the wiper issus, see if the arm is installed according to factory specs

You've got quite a list to tackle but don't lose heart. Have you tried documenting these problems with photos or videos to strengthen your case when following up with the dealership?

That sounds very frustrating. Don't forget to take notes, start documenting everything so you have proof. Keep the notes of dealership visits, videos/photos, dates etc. Don't let them gaslight you into thinking that these problems are totally normal and there's nothing wrong.

With that rough start for a 2025 HR-V, I guess it's never too early to do some research about your state's lemon law? Maybe that would keep them on their toes!!

have you updated the infotainment system? I had issue like yours before, but it turned out that I needed to update it

sounds like a horrible start to something that should've been a nice experience. Have you managed to take care of things with the dealership?
