Screen too bright when map is on

I just got a 2022 EX-L, and i've been messing around with the infotainment system and one thing has been bugging me, the screen gets too bright , especially when the map is on at night, its almost blinding. Is there any way to dim it or switch it to a night mode?

It should use a sensor somewhere on the dash probably behind the infotainment and if it's set on auto brightness it should dim at night. Do you have something there? A piece of paper or one of those non slip phone mats? Also, might want to dig through the settings to see if the option is turned off.
